Getting a job can be as simple as pushing a button

Our client, Indeed, positions itself as the world’s top job board where users, regardless of their experience or background, can quickly find their next opportunity. As a Marketing Strategist, I established the foundation for our marketing campaign through primary and secondary market research. Generating 650 data points, I conducted surveys, held user interviews, tracked consumer trends, and analyzed data to ensure our team is equipped with the most relevant information. At the American Advertising Federation’s NSAC Competition, we presented our GTM strategies to executive-level stakeholders.

The Challenge

Over the past year, Indeed discovered a plateau in unaided consideration as well as usage among the 18-24 age demographic. Considering their all-inclusive target market, Indeed gave us the task to create a marketing campaign that would increase their market share within 18-24 age demographic.

Market Research

Our findings indicated that users are unaware of Indeed’s competitive advantages. 27.5% of job seekers do not see Indeed as different from its competitors. This is mainly due to the fact that most users have a vague understanding of Indeed’s services and differentiators.
